This activity kit is packed with fantastic art supplies including paints, felt-pens and pencils to turn everyday objects lying around your home into an art attack. Why not visit your local library? Many libraries run special events for children over the school holidays - go along and see what they have on offer.

Another book of fun activities, again published by Usborne, is based on the popular 'Farmyard tales' series, and is called 'Farmyard tales things to make and do'. Projects include a kite, a door sign and butterflies.
Holidays are often a time for new experiences and there are many books to help your child prepare for and understand these. One such series is Usborne's 'First experiences' covering topics such as 'Going on a plane' and 'Going to a party'.
