I am a member of Parents in Touch but I keep getting a message that these pages are for members only and I cannot view them.
There are two levels of access to the site:

  • Registered users are asked to give us their email address and a password. This allows access to many of the pages on the site.
  • Membership of Parents in Touch costs just £6 a year and this gives access to the entire site.
  • If you are a member, please make sure you are viewing the member pages - some of the worksheets pages have a link at the top of the page, asking members to click to access all the pages.

How do I become a member?
On the information bar at the top of every page there is a link labelled Subscribe. If you click on this it will take you to a Membership page with ‘Membership of Parents in Touch’ at the top. You must be logged in and then you proceed to a page which links you to PayPal.

I want to pay by cheque or bank transfer
Please email us at info@parentsintouch.co.uk and we will give you the necessary details.

I can’t view/print the pages
The downloadable pages on Parents in Touch are created either as pdf or as Word files.
When you view Word documents, in order for them to display correctly, you must view the page in Print layout. To do this, go to View on the toolbar; then click onto Print Layout. Also ensure that your page view is in page width.
In order to view a PDF file, you need to install Adobe Reader on your computer. This is available for FREE and you can download it from the Adobe web site by clicking here. Please ensure you are using a current version.

I can't download the pages Some files are large and take a while to download, so please be patient. This can occur when using Windows Vista. Word and pdf documents may open in a new window when using Vista. Vista users may find using Adobe Reader 8 is quicker to download the pages.

I don’t have Word on my computer

To view a Word document, you need to have Microsoft Word installed on your computer. If you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your computer, please click here for the Microsoft website where you can download a FREE Word Viewer.

I am using a mac
You can still view our documents - see above. PDF files can be viewed.

How many worksheets and test papers do you have?
We have worksheets and test papers for all stages of educational development from Early Writing Skills to Teaching Phonics and Maths Explained. There are test papers at all the Key stage and revision pages to ensure that the children can have complete understanding of all the questions they find difficult. In total there are 1000’s of worksheets on the site.

Are there actual SATS papers on the site?
There are actual ‘SATS’ papers for all key stages available to our members.

Are there GCSE papers on the site?
There are links to all the GCSE examination boards on the site. These have direct and up to date papers readily available. As this resource is so good and the examination boards and papers so variable we thought that this was a more efficient way to inform our members. There are some key stage 4 revision pages on the site.

Answers to papers
We endeavour to provide answers to most of the test and exam papers, with the exception of English becuase the answers are subjective. We do not see the necessity of providing answers to all the worksheets.

How do I find individual pages?
There is an excellent Search facility on the site. If you enter a word such as’ Phonics’or a phrase such as ‘High Frequency words’ into this you will find the relevant page. The search will also help find an actual worksheet if you enter the name of the worksheet in inverted commas. The search can be found at the top of the navigation bar, which is on the left of every page.
