What you need for a new baby

During your pregnancy you will find yourself drawn to baby shops. This is very natural and exciting. Many Mums-to-be hesitate from buying anything until the pregnancy is well advanced. Do not leave it too late…as some items may have to be ordered.

Many people will give you presents so wait and see what you receive. You will be surprised how many gifts you receive. Many people cannot resist a new baby and love an excuse to baby shop! So for 0 to 3 months it is more economical if you only buy the essentials. This then means that you will know the sex of your baby, the size at birth and what outfits that you have been given.

The choice for new parents of what to buy is overwhelming. Babies only need your love and time. They do not need a lot of equipment and gadgets. Shopping for baby items, having a baby shower, and stocking a nursery may be a lot of fun but mum and dad are what your baby wants most. Remember babies grow very quickly and you are very busy BUT do find time to enjoy them!!!!
