My son is 9 now and is also very sensitive. He likes rules and things done in a 'certain way'.
His teacher last year was not sympathetic at all and we felt he suffered greatly even though he came top of the class in everything. When talkng to us she would always overlook how good his schoolwork was and concentrate on all the other emotional stuff, which, in my opinion she was the cause of.

He has another teacher now and is so much happier.
